Lamps Legends

This series recaps the most iconic and timeless design lamps from the world of design that are now considered modern classics, influencing contemporary aesthetics and interior design trends. This project was created at Serial Cutâ„¢ as part of my work with the studio.

Snoopy Floos

The Snoopy table lamp was designed in 1967 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The Snoopy provides direct light through a thick glass disk and an enameled reflector, both resting on a white marble base.

AJ Table Lamp

The AJ Lamps were designed as sculptural and picturesque additions to the décor at the SAS Royal Hotel in 1957, and their shapes and elegant architectural expressions were completely new to the world of light design. Louis Poulsen have since picked up manufacturing of the AJ Lamps.

Marset Dipping Light

Beyond its function as a lamp, Dipping Light evokes emotions. Designed in 2018 by Jordi Canudas for Marset, it began as an experiment—dipping a lit light bulb into paint multiple times, forming layers of concentric circles that trap the light and soften its intensity. A modern, timeless masterpiece.
